The Elbe-Weser network for peatland maintenance and management is a regional platform for exchange and networking among stakeholders involved in the maintenance and management of peatland areas under changing water levels.
The network’s goal is to bring together agricultural operations, landowners, government agencies, advisory services, and other stakeholders, and to promote practical knowledge exchange regarding the use of rewetted peatland sites. The focus is on feasibility under real-world operational and regional conditions.
