Rapid is a long-established Swiss company with 100 years of experience in the field of single-axle tractors.
As early as 1926, the first single-axle implement carrier was developed and put into mass production.
In 2019, Rapid acquired two German premium manufacturers of single-axle machines and radio-controlled crawlers: Brielmaier Motormäher GmbH and KommTek.
With production facilities in Killwangen (Switzerland) and Mennwangen (southern Germany), Rapid is fully committed to quality in the professional segment.
The broad product range offers the right machine for every application. The machines are used in municipal applications, horticulture, nurseries, agriculture, steep-slope management, landscape conservation, wet meadow and bog management, grounds maintenance, and forestry.
In particular, the Brielmaier motor mower—with its low weight, large wheels, and powerful engine—is uniquely suited for use in bog maintenance and has proven itself and become well-established in this field over many years.

As a vertically integrated company, Rapid develops and manufactures its machines entirely in-house.
The development team in Mennwangen is responsible for the radio-controlled crawlers and attachments, while the single-axle carriers and their corresponding attachments are developed in Killwangen, Switzerland. -
Through the sales department and dealers, it is also possible to rent certain Rapid models in order to test them extensively in your own operation before purchasing them. To do so, you can submit a request to the appropriate Rapid sales representative.

Rapid’s products are distributed through its ever-growing network of dealers. The distribution channels are short, and the connection to customers is close.

The machines and attachments can be viewed and tested at the respective dealers upon request. The locations in southern Germany (Radio-Controlled Crawler Competence Center) and in Killwangen, Switzerland (Single-Axle Competence Center) are open for visits at any time upon request.
